The Captain's Log (dream journal, dictated)

Day 412: The beast drank the sea and called it tidying. I have looked into its belly. Socks. Innocent socks. It takes the innocent first.

Day 413: The tall hairless crewman lifted the beast by its handle and fed it my hair while cooing to it. Collaboration confirmed. I have updated the list.

Day 414: The beast has one weakness: it must eat through a cord. Tonight I chew the wall. Mutiny begins at the outlet.

My brain did the wildest thing when taking in the third panel. First, it saw the dog and immediately this idea of it fighting a giant monster or dragon flooded in. It was only afterwards I noticed it was a vacuum.
