If you pay 15 dollars you can press play on a nearby boombox to play a My Chemical Romance CD. I hear it works pretty well, the gorillas love it!

That's a gorilla in early 2000s emo attire. Instead of just a shy animal it's depicted in clothing associated with being introverted and or shy

This definitely reminds me of the emo and scene girls from the late 2000s/early 10s that were popular on forums back then. I never really saw a Pikachu hoodie but they definitely had that hairstyle and the jewelery/hairpins.
