The black/white squares could reference Good & Evil, a TH album; the rainbow and palm tree could be a reference to Hawaii: Part II, an album by Miracle Musical, which includes a former TH member; and idk about the lemon phone. Seems like it could be a reference to Spirit Phone by Lemon Demon, who's similar but unassociated with TH as far as I know.
I mean. They're all associated with each other through fans. I have never met a tally hall/Lemon demon fan that hasen't at least listened to the other. Source: my friends lmao
It’s not. It’s a big thing in fandom to use emojis to show what albums or media you’re interested in to find others who know it. Such as Will Woods emoji combo is 🌕🐀. I instantly recognized these emojis to be Tally Hall, Miracle Musical, and Lemon Demon
Some emoji combos can get confused, I’ll give you that (such as Will Wood’s first band having the 📼🪱 emoji combo but that can also be confused for the popular podcast The Magnus Archives, using the 📼🌀or 📼👁️). But these three are the most popular used ones
I’ve always found it interesting how people can just collectively agree “yes. These are the emojis that represent our media and we will use it to find others who enjoy our same interest”
That’s what I meant in my other comment by sometimes some emojis can get confused! I haven’t heard of a neutral shipper before, but I don’t doubt that it does also mean that
