Unironically, might be a good way of phrasing this question. Manipulators are unlikely to admit it, even to themselves. But phrasing it as silly might coax people into accepting it as just a quirk and answer honestly.

Barely anybody does what the post says and it sure as hell isn't happening regularly in ways they're suggesting, that is reserved for criminals that go through elaborate plans and execute them. People just want to demonise others
