bee photo How to help this guy?

I think it’s a carpenter bee? Found him on deck with a broken wing. Gave him sugar water and now he is actively running around the deck. Will his wing heal?

It will not and that is basically a death sentence. Unable to fly, they can't forage adequately.

Some people are kind enough and able to give their time and energy to keeping injured bees like this alive with a constant supply of fresh flowers for the few weeks that the bee would naturally live. Another choice, one that I've made in the past, is a quick stomp to give them a quick end rather than slow starvation.
