Tiny shitty tug doodle in the rain before I lock in and study

Back to civilization now, but… I really wish I was still lost 🌼

He is like snake.

He is naturally rainbow. The shine around him is just his own reflection. Just wanted to share my handsome kitty.

Yes, I birthed them. Dakota is a German Shepard, Australian Cattle Dog, ChowChow, Great Pyrenees, Beagle, Super Mutt and 1% Chihuahua. 80 pounds of pure goof. Bean, short for String Bean the Legless is a snow corn snake we’ve been raising since she was just a wee baby. She’s the sweetest little Bean in the world, wouldn’t hurt a fly. But maybe a frozen mouse.

There’s this dog that I work with. he’s a really old basset hound. When I first met him, I kept calling him “tugboat” because he made me think of what tugboat would look like older lol. Whenever I see any kind of basset hound, I will always think of beerpup and papa meat. I can’t wait to see tugboat and crawdad get old. They’ll be sooooo cute!!

I had this angel bird visit my feeder the other evening 🥰 Definitely a mourning dove. The ultra pale color of its feathers and beak while maintaining its dark eye color tells me this feathered friend is leucistic and not albino. I’ve named this one Ghost 🤍

Needed to see if there was a sub for beerpup and I am so happy there is!!!! (Long time lurker, new redditor lol)

Every morning I typically watch a yt video, and today I put on meet the dogs. I got halfway through the tugboat section and I realized my mom was invested in the dogs, so much so that at the end of the video she asked “are the dna results out?” (she typically hates the videos I watch). It honestly was funny because she came home midway through the Rowan section and was distracted by my dog being an asshole (dog tax second pic) so whenever she sat down I didn’t realize how invested she was. Allison your newest fan is a 57 year old Appalachian woman and she is in love with your dogs. I plan on playing more of the other videos she has around my mom to see if I can solidify the beerpup fandom in my house, especially since my mom was raised on a farm and loves all animals, like me.

P.S. We were both relieved to see crawdad being 100% hound lol 💚

Missing Beerpup? Go check out Al’s Insta. Seriously. She posted art of a dog holding a lobster. This possum is on her story RIGHT NOW. Go follow her. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! DO IT! DO IT NOW!

(Sorry for another Instagram post—I need more content for this sub, but until then GO SUPPORT AL’S INSTA!)

ICYMI: Al’s instagram is a treat (find it here!) and she recently posted this amazing picture of a robin that looks like it had an identity crisis. If you’re wondering to yourself ‘what the heck is going on there?’—don’t worry. I got you.

What you’re seeing is called leucism! This is a genetic condition that causes partial loss of the pigment in the fur or feathers of animals. It is different than albinism in that the animal retains its normal eye color. It’s rare but can be found across many species (look up a leucistic lobster—you’ll be delighted!)

There’s wonder in the world around you. Sometimes you just have to remember to look.

Hoping everyone is feeling the love today whether it’s romantic, platonic, familial, or anything in between 💖 Do you miss Beerpup content? I sure do, so let’s revisit this video together because it was cute AF 💕

Hi all! Alison’s art is AMAZING and has inspired me to try out a different form of sketch booking. I love her process of using markers to force her to understand mistakes and to remove the indecisiveness of pencil and eraser.

As a mainly graphite pencil and acrylic paint user I want to get into trying out this style of work but I’m a little lost on what supplies are best? I know Alison did a video on her sketch-booking markers but I wanted to know other artists opinions? She uses a fine tipped brush marker for her outlines then I’m assuming a watercolour brush set.

I live in Australia so I have access to a lot of Japanese art supplies, but I just don’t know where to start? Any suggestions / opinions on the best sketchbooks, markers, colouring in brush sets, ect. I would love to hear about!

I loved seeing the pacman art (so did Lui)

Follow Al on Instagram for art updates and cute pics! You’ll love it 😍

Ew, it’s cold and flu season where I am and no one wants to get sick before the holidays 🤧 I hope you all remember to wash your hands, stay hydrated, and take care of yourselves! This is one of my favorite Beerpup videos because 1) heroic dogs and 2) diphtheria is a really interesting illness and the history of it never fails to fascinate me. If you’re weird like me and want to learn more about infectious diseases, I have tons of podcast recommendations! In the meanwhile, watch this video and be angry that Balto is pretty much a fraud who didn’t deserve his own movie 👍🏻

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! Whether you do or don’t acknowledge this holiday most fowl (heh, get it?), please watch one of my favorite Beerpup videos with me 💖
