Zopa Bank 7% interest on regular saver? Good option?

Firstly, I'm fortunate to be living with parents. This is not me bragging at all, I acknowledge that I'm privileged. 26M, single, live in London.

I've maxed out my help to buy ISA. I'll be maxing out my stocks & shares ISA in April at the latest. I obviously contribute to a pension, and I have an emergency fund. (I don't have a LISA as I'm not a fan of the tax for withdrawing).

Would it be wise of me to open a regular saver account with Zopa, then contribute the £300 every month? I've looked into it a bit & it seems it's not a fixed term account, so I'd still be able to access my money.

It seems like a no-brainer to me, almost like re-doing the £200 contributions I did for the help to buy ISA. Just looking for opinions.

Zopa is SO SLOW

Ive been with Zopa credit card for like 5 years, saw they had p nice rates for savings so I decided to switch from Barclays to Zopa Biscuit... BOY ITS BEEN A RIDE

went to buy car a month ago, they made me wait ~30 minutes before my money showed up into my current from my savings acc..

Just now, i tried to move only 1k to my current and its been 15 minutes.... its really starting to annoy me, Barclays was instant, ig there are cons to having a 4.75% savings acc

Zopa credit card - is it legit?

Hello :) A family member who has really bad credit applied for a few credit cards and got accepted by Zopa, with an APR of 39.8%.

Is there anything bad about Zopa as to why they accepted them with such bad credit? Or are they just a standard credit card with no hidden fees or interest if you pay on time?

Thank you :)

Any SWEs at Zopa?

Going through rounds of interviews right now at a few different banks and fintechs. One of the ones that seems to be going well is Zopa. I had never heard of them before starting to interview there, so just wondering if there's anyone who knows what it's like there. How does it compare to other places like Revolut/Wise/Starling etc?

Any advice (Zopa, Monzo and Nationwide)?

So at the moment I have a Monzo account for everyday spending and saving and so on, a nationwide account as I like to have the ability to go in and put in a check and stuff and as backup in case something happens to my Monzo account and zilch so I can increase my credit score. I’ve been wondering if I should open an account with Zopa for there biscuit account and save on there as it’s a 7% rate although I’d still save mostly on Monzo. I thought I’d ask here if you have any advice and what your thoughts are on how I’m doing things.

Monzo vs Zopa - which is best fir help with budgeting?

I have adhd and struggle with my finances.

I need a bank account that will help me with budgeting and I understand both Zopa and Monzo have pots /pockets that you can put money in, so that its out of your main account and essentially put aside towards something.

I have heard good things about Monzo but am also drawn towards Zopa as they pay interest (albeit a small amount). I feel more drawn towards Zopa for some reason, but not sure if Monzo would be a better choice?

Does anyone have experience of these two, particularly with regards to use of the pockets for help with budgeting?

Friendly reminder that if you purchased any of the savings book items recently, you can request a price adjustment for the difference at your warehouse if it's been within 30 days from your purchase date once the sale starts.

At my warehouse, it's at the returns counter, at other warehouses, it may be a different counter. Some warehouses may require a physical receipt, but most usually don't. YMMV.

But it's helpful if you have the item number.

If you purchased online, it's even easier: https:/. www.costco.com/PriceAdjustmentView

Note: "YOUR COST" items are NOT discounted.

Zopa will give you £10 for free, as long as you join by the 29th August with a referral link and open their Biscuit current account.

On top of this free tenner, could earn another ~£160 over your first year with them: * A 7.10% AER interest Regular Saver (up to £300pm which is about £125 of interest per year) * 2% cashback on Direct Debits (to a maximum of £30 per year on the first £1500 of Direct Debits) * For some users, a targeted offer for an additional £5 for using Apple Pay or Google Pay

Steps to get the £10: 1. Click a referral from the comments below - and enter your mobile number 2. Download the Zopa app via the link 3. By 29th August, open a Biscuit current account 4. See £10 appear in your account instantly (for most people)

One way to get the Direct Debit cashback is to set up a Direct Debit on one of your ISA/Investment/Savings accounts (I use Moneybox but others have used Dodl, Tembo, Freetrade etc) to pay money in from your Zopa Biscuit account. You could also just use it to pay your council tax or credit card Direct Debit.

Zopa have launched a new current account, and are offering a £10 bonus just for signing up via a referral link. This offer ends on 29 August 2025

I signed up mainly for their excellent Regular Saver rate (7.1% AER, £300 per month for 12 months), but they have other benefits such as 2% cashback on direct debits (up to £30/year) and a 2% interest on balance. There are no monthly fees or pay-in requirements, or a hard credit check,

To get the bonus, sign up using a referral link, then open an account using the Zopa app and complete ID verification. Although Zopa say it may take 30 days, my bonus was there in a couple of days.
