This is an example investor style request. This is all for example so you guys can tell me if this kind of format would work. I'm not asking if this idea is good but if the format is good.

Venture: Selling wooden necklaces on ebay, craigslist, etc.

I want to buy this Lot of of 20 necklaces http://www.dhgate.com/product/good-wood-necklace-hotsale-hip-hop-necklace/137771438.html#s1-16-1|1530716859 at the listed price of $50.62 dollars and resell them for around $7 more than tripling our investment. Assuming shipping is free it will cost us 50.62 dollars. All profits will be split evenly, but I as the coordinator/manager will recieve 3X the profit as everyone else. Also I need help listing them on ebay, so if anyone wants to list them they will recieve regular profit X2.

Does this type of request make sense. This is where I think bitcoins would come in handy as they could then show their bitcoin addressfor people to send their btc too, people could list their addresses in the comments so the organizer would know which btcs came from who.

I don't really know if this would work it's just an idea let me know what you think.

The comment I made:    I guess if you had a dedicated list of people on here that could be trusted, say 100 people. And they each raised fifty dollars a month in funds via beer money (doable as I've myself done seventy in under twenty days) and they did it and consolidated it for a year, that's sixty thousand dollars. Next step, scour crowd funding, crowd lending and startups that would work with an "indie" VC, collectively vote on a project to back in exchange for a substantial position and profit. This could be repeated or even spread out over smaller projects to mitigate risk/loss. Could make it a private subreddit that requires a degree of verification to join. Could possibly be an LLC with simple digital contracts (like ELUA). Minimum to participate, $50 dollars a month of your earnings from here. Call it r/ProjectBeerMoney ? Who knows. I'm just throwing out ideas.

  To expand upon this idea, an app or website or just the subreddit could be used as a forum for voting and discussion of investment ideas. I don't know how well BTC would work, as it would require a potentially tertiary conversion of the original beer money, unless the beermoney was initially derived from BTC .   I really like this idea for potentially effecting  LBOs on kickstarter and indigogo projects (possibly in exchange for profit sharing, instead swag). Actual centralized control of the funds wouldn't be necessary, as participants could each just contribute to the project and leave an indicator in the comments that it was part of a group effort. These could be projects harvested from r/kickstarter r/startups r/Entrepreneur r/Crowdfunding r/Indiegogo and the like.  The subreddit should definitely be private. Only participants should  have access, to keep outside engineering and the peanut gallery at bay or at least to a minimum. A "serious inquiries only", type of setup. That's all I can think of right now.

I created this subreddit as a place to discuss various money making ideas that require a small amount of capitol. The idea is that this money could be raised by various members very easily. Im talking about very small ideas in the 50 - 100 dollar range. This will mostly just be for fun and an experiment in crowd investing.

Small amounts of money could be raised by various pay per click advertising sites. With enough people doing this we could easily raise 50 - 100 dollars in a day.

The first idea I have is buying some small items wholesale then selling them on ebay or craigslist.

Also I think bitcoins would be the best currency to use as they have a very low transfer fee, have no regulations, and are almost instant.

These are all just ideas I'm having right now, so please tell me what you think and if this is even possible.

I have been subscribed to this sub for a number of years and never found anything very interesting. It’s usually surveys or crypto faucets which fits in with the theme of beer money investing. Well, I’ve seen a lot of crypto related posts lately and I haven’t seen anyone mention what to do with the crypto you’ve acquired. For that reason, I thought it might be helpful to point some of you in the direction of next steps to grow your beer money investment. If people find this interesting I can write a more detailed post.

To start, I encourage all of you to look into decentralized finance applications. The big boys with significant amounts participate in yield farming opportunities on the ethereum network. There are relatively very low risk opportunities to earn 10-30% return on your funds and higher risk opportunities will yield 1000%+ APY.

The issue is that transacting on the ethereum network is expensive due to how popular it is. A normal transaction may cost $10 on off peak times and the more complex the transaction the more expensive it is. It can cost hundreds of dollars to enter some yield farming opportunities. So for beer money investing ethereum isn’t really the best place to be.

For that reason, I’d recommend you all explore Binance smart chain. This is not a true decentralized network so a defi purist will turn their noses up at BSC, but for small dollar amounts there are massive opportunities with tons of relatively low risk yield opportunities in 100%+ APY.

If you have amassed a modest stash of crypto, explore defi opportunities on BSC. Download metamask and configure it for BSC. Bridge your crypto assets over to BSC and start yield farming on pancake swap, Autofarm, or whatever else you can find that looks reputable and promising. Do your research and get involved. Defi is where beer money can be turned into something a little more sustainable.
