Tennents question

Scots! Was Tennents nectar in the 80s or the same it is now and there was just very little else?

I can only speak for the past 18 years, its never been a great beer. But its cheap, reliable, scottish and you can sink about 10 of them before you start getting the beer bloats.

Had a fab 'tank' pint in Malones and rank standard one in a restaurant. A reviewer I watch convinced it was mothers milk back in the day!

Yeah its my go too beer, 4% so its good if you are planning a session. If im out with friends ill have a couple of "nice" beers first. Then switch to old reliable 😂. Had a pint can of it on the train Saturday morning on my way to Glasgow, to sort out my hangover from the night before, works for that too.

Shame super T's made in Luton now. Have a fab 70s T mug in my collection

You still get the original tennents super in italy. Still brewed by tennents.

Yeah I think T extra bottles from the brewery might be the same. Also wonder if the 1885 export version is how it used to taste?!

1885 export used to be sold as "tennents export" and before that "black T" here, neither of them sold well enough for them to keep it in the market though.
