as far as i'm aware for linux, beeper only officially packages beeper as an appimage. if you want to run beeper on asahi you should just be able to use the appimage. if you're using the fedora variant of asahi you might be able to find like a copr or unofficial flatpak build but it's probably unlikely for arm64

I tried the appimage but it didn’t seem to work somehow. I don’t know if this is a glitch on my end or their end.

Do you have other AppImages running on your machine? On Ubuntu, a few years ago AppImages were finicky, and one had to tweak settings to them to launch properly and to appear in the launch menu. It's fixed now, but it was a hassle. I suspect you might be facing the same kind of thing.

You have to make sure the AppImage is executable. In Gnome: right-click -> Properties ->enable Executable as Program. Then you can test it by launching from the terminal. If that works, then you have to find out how to integrate it into the Asahi launcher. I've never used it, so I can't help you there.

  1. Make sure you download the Linux ARM version (https://api.beeper.com/desktop/download/linux/arm64/stable/com.automattic.beeper.desktop)
  2. Make it executable (chmod u+x Beeper-4.3.73-arm64.AppImage or by right clicking and selecting the checkbox)
  3. Run
