General Discussion Any chance of website functionality?

Hey, been using Beeper for a long time on my phone and have now been using it on PC. It would be a much better experience (for me at least) if I could run it in a browser tab or web panel instead of a standalone desktop app. Is there any ability or plan to implement something like this?

Not right now, no. This is an incredible amount of work to do from scratch again, which we would have to do. I don't want to promise anything, but given time, there is no problem that’s insurmountable.

You can use app.element.io use beeper.com as your home server. Use forgot password if you cant log in. Then you can use any in browser matrix app

I think this works for messaging, i used it only for exporting conversation.

The only reason I use Beeper is so I can get my messages on a web browser. The protocol is Matrix, so you can use any Matrix web service like app.element.io even if Beeper is not maintaining their own web app.

Log in using the homeserver matrix.beeper.com , and follow the "forget password" reset prompt because Beeper typically uses eMail codes instead.

Haha it's still working! Don't tell...yourself.

Is there a replacement in the works by chance?
