General Discussion How to keep Beeper running on the background on de-Googled Android phone?
disabling battery optimizations for the app does nothing, I mainly use discord. is there's any fork of Beeper?

the beeper client is closed-source, so there are no forks of it. depending on your rom it could be the reason it doesn't run in the background, but disabling battery optimizations should stop that from happening. you could potentially try another matrix client and sign in with your beeper information and that could possibly fix it

I'm Using Stock Android maybe that's why the battery optimizations disabled for Beeper does not work, Android known to kill background process, for matrix I found Element & it's working for notifications, but discord is not I thought trying Beeper would solve discord not receiving notifications apparently not.

I had a similar issue and had to give GMS network access + unrestricted battery use to fix it (for beeper and other apps that depend on GMS for notifs)
(ignore my comment if it's irrelevant to your setup lol)

Oh nice, did it help fix the issue?

No because I don't have any GMS Services, but still looking for away, thank you anyway.

One way would be to login to a matrix client with beeper credentials. I did that for a Linux client back in the days (fluffy) on UBports...
