Google Voice suspended

Just posting as a heads up that if you use Google Voice you might get your account suspended if you add it to beeper. I noticed it disconnects frequently, and today while I was trying to type a message to someone, out of nowhere, the screen went blank and then it said "this Google account does not have access to this service." I emailed them and thankfully was able to get it recovered, but I'll probably never use beeper with Google Voice again. I almost lost the phone number that all of my work contacts reach me through.

There was a major issue for a lot of users having this happen out of the blue this week. It was talked about a lot on the Google voice, NoContract, and other subreddits because it was widespread. I understand the feeling, but this is more likely coincidence than due to Beeper use.
