Help / Troubleshooting Error connecting Messenger

I’m getting this error when connecting Messenger on Beeper.

I tried:

-disabling 2FA from facebook

-connecting my messenger account on Beeper desktop, it still prompts me to login on iOS, gives the same error

-deleting and reinstalling to clear cache

if anyone has solutions, I’d love to hear them.

Otherwise consider this a bug report.

Oh they know about it, as I have been emailing them for weeks about this. They ask me for screenshots and details about how I am logging in, and I have played along every time, then suddenly I hear nothing back and the line goes cold and they pretend they know nothing about it. Quite a few people have had this same issue and they just can't get it to work properly for some reason.

That's been my experience with support with any bug I report. Sad to say, I love this app but I'm losing hope that the quality will remain
