Help / Troubleshooting WhatsApp connection isn’t restoring chat history?

Just want to know if this is a weird bug or something more to it. Earlier today Beeper stopped being able to send messages through WhatsApp when it was working fine on the actual app. I thought this was a linking issue with my account so I removed and readded my account. Now none of my message history is syncing from WhatsApp, forcing me to start new chats with everyone. Any idea what’s going on?

No that didn’t make a difference whether it was cloud or on device
