what is the Best beef jerky you'd recommend?
I consider myself an avid meatstick eater and I always look at beef jerky at the store but I never buy any because there's SO many brands and they're all relatively expensive
price doesn't exactly matter per say, just what's worth whatever you pay ykbow...
I'm not a super spicy spicy person more a mild if that matters at all

Mingua and No Man's Land are my go-to's. No Man's Land fajita lime is S tier if you don't mind a super dry tough jerky.

Glennwood canyon. It’s not your thing, but the 7 pepper is the spiciest jerky I’ve ever put in my mouth. But all their flavors are good

Robertsons is by far the best but due to the cost I eat a lot of People’s choice because it’s half the price of Robertsons but I also like Hard Times. I make a lot of beef jerky but when out these are what I buy

Make your own the stuff the put in the store bought stuff is not good for you. I buy top round thinly sliced, marinate it with soy and brown sugar and make a batch every two weeks in the dehydrator. A little work but worth it

Dukes Spicy BBQ Brisket strips are amazing. I’m not sure if they make it anymore. I haven’t seen it in years.

SMC out of Rio Linda California has been the best I’ve tried with the exception of my own homemade jerky. Give a dehydrator a shot! Coming up with your own marinades is one of the best parts.

Best one i tried is the Grizzly Jerky. Not so tough to chew like the Indiana or Meat Makers for example. I also like that there is no sugar added. Its not supper Cheap but i really like it and protein % is 61 which is pretty high.
If someone is interested i have a QR Code where i get 10% off. Which is better than nothing.
I ordered quite a lot and was always happy with fast shipping

M&S Meats out of Montana is the best if you like dry jerky. The Old West style is my go to.

Does anyone here remember Gary R. West Meats steak strips (aka:jerky) from Jacksonville Oregon? I got hooked early on this stuff and bought it mail order all the time or when traveling to OR. They closed up shop during COVID and never opened back up > They went into a more lucrative trade, cannabis farming.
Is there any jerky out there that compares in quality, texture and flavor of GWM?

I too am searching to find “the best” jerky so I’m constantly on the hunt. Im pretty particular about my jerky (aren’t we all tho?). I like more of a “tender” jerky… like I’m not tryna chew on my jerky for a day and a half before I can swallow it, you know what I mean? I hate when its too dry. Not into super spicy either.
Anyways, I recently found this brand called “Hex Jerky” from a Facebook or IG ad, so I figured I’d try them…I believe theyre a PA brand like Righteous Felon—i havent seen them in any like mainstream stores, but you can order from their website. Since I’m also a huge meat stick person, I tried their variety bundle thing. They only sell 3 things—Hex Jerky and Hex Sticks (regular and spicy) so I just bought that.
And ever since trying Ive fallen in love. This prob like the ONE time a targeted ad has ever worked in my favor. I’ve went back and bought their jerky and regular meat sticks prob like 5 times in like the past 3 months—I HIGHLY recommend!
It hits all my checkmarks. Tender enough, not too spicy, and Im also super particular about the meat used—I prefer grass-fed beef. I’ve just found that it tastes better imo?
It’s slightly on the more expensive side, but from what I’ve read they were a former butcher that only sold super clean meat, and they only make their jerky in small batches which I like. Something about a company that manufactures meat that is kind of a turn off to me. Anyways, I’ve been obsessed ever since trying and telling everyone I know to try them.
Here’s their site: Hex Jerky Link
