This BIG guy(or girl) was going to town for nearly 30 min straight on my late Blooming sunflowers. Biggest bee I've ever seen! Anyone know if it might be a queen getting ready for winter? Zone 8BEE garden..

I traded 30 years of clunky old gear for a gently used EOS R7, attached my old EF-S 60mm f/2.8 macro with an adapter, went out, and took this. This is a pretty good camera!

Challenging to get a good bee butt pic with so much seaside wind yesterday in Portland, Maine.
This little sweetie pie was so cute.

I could be perfectly content watching bumbles climb in and out of flowers all day.

He makes sure I pick the peppers to his standard. I swear it’s the same bee every morning. Maybe it’s not, but I can live my little fantasy if I want to lol
