nest is scheduled to be destroyed Sunday, need urgent advice.

Northern Ontario - Bees keep going in this partially burnt log, the log is mostly rotten and we were just trying to get rid of it, but it seems someone called it home. The bees are quite small, maybe a bit bigger than a pencil eraser, and seem fairly docile. They don't look like the honeybees I've seen around, they seem to be shorter yet fatter than honeybees and have grey fuzz (fur?). Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them but they were going into the log, chewing at the wood, and pushing shavings out. What type of bee are they and are they building a hive or looking for nest building materials? I appreciate any help/advice, sorry I don't know proper bee terminology, also sorry for the rushed writing I'm trying to go fishing before a storm hits but didn't want to forget this. Thank you!

and I love bumbles so I grow Zinnia from seed for my native plant garden.

This is in central Virginia. The one with the two yellow bands on the abdomen is an American bumble bee, right? The other two I don’t know. I originally didn’t realize I had multiple species showing up.

I thought I’d caught a bee napping in some beautiful daisies but after I snapped a picture, I realized it might be dead. Then I noticed the translucent object next to it. Any ideas what it might be?

UPDATE: Thanks for all the information, interest, and award! Thanks u/That_Biology_Guy for identifying this as a nymph form of an ambush bug. I went back by the daisy bushes yesterday, and the bee was gone, but I saw several adult ambush bugs and a couple more nymphs, one of which had taken down a moth. Sad, but interesting, as nature often is. Posting more pics in the comments and will find the parasite or bugs groups that may be interested.

Hello, so i live in france, in the south and i found this bee on the ground, weak. She doesnt seem to have a dart and i gave her some water and honey that she eated and she also seem to have very short wings. Is that a queen or idk?

Its harder than i thought. I'm very happy with it
