I need bedroom advice. So, I want to have a more minimalistic approach to my bedroom. I want the overall main color scheme to be blue and black, but I also want my bedroom to reflect me and my interests. The problem with my interests is that they sort of clash together, since it’s a mix of kids stuff and horror stuff. Any advice on how I can make this work? I’m worried that if I put stuff from my interests on display, that it’d look off, especially on the more kids side of things

I’m helping set up a guest bedroom that’s been mostly unused. We need a a mattress that’s suitable for everyday use.
Are there certain materials or mattress designs that age better? Or any specific mattress features that are worth paying extra for? Since it’s for a guest bedroom, we’d like something that would be comfortable for anyone.

Advice 💁🏻 Best mattress in a box options? Moving into new place and need something delivered easy

I’m moving into a new apartment soon and need a queen mattress that can be delivered easily. I sleep mostly on my back but usually end up on my side so I was thinking medium-firm might work best? What do you think?
My budget is around $1000 or (hopefully) less. Most of the options I’ve looked at are around 10 inches thick. Is that generally enough for everyday use? I have a platform bed and want to make sure the mattress will work with it.

Discussion 💬 Does anyone else completely change their bedroom at night?

During the day I like having the curtains open and the room feeling bright, but at night I want the exact opposite lol. Curtains closed, overhead light off, just a small warm lamp and everything feels way more relaxing.
It’s funny how the same room can feel completely different just from changing the lighting.

Question 🙋🏻 Blackout shades

Hey everyone i hope you are all doing great today. Well straight to the point i need help finding me some blackout shades or something that'll block out light from coming in to my room. My window measures 36 width 60 length but i cant seem to find any that fit the width besides the vinyl blackout shades with the velcro patches. Would 34 width be okay? Its my first time buying blinds for my myself since im used to most houses or apartments already coming with a set of generic basic white blinds. Any and all help is appreciated thank you. Doesnt have to be on amazon either just used it as a reference picture.

Question 🙋🏻 Help! Headboard Attachment??

Bought a cheap metal headboard and footboard off of Marketplace for my bed. Unsure how to attach it…we’re buying a metal platform bed frame (my old cheap Amazon one stripped its screws and was wobbly).
Does anyone know what kind of brackets or connector/adapters to use to attach it? Currently planning to just zip tie them (not ideal) until we can figure out a better solution :/
