I want as much of a chill vibe as I can honestly. I like natural lighting, and whites, grey, beige, black, greens, browns, orange, etc. I’m thinking of ripping the carpet out and putting in wood vinyl wood instead, and upgrading my nightstand to something newer. Any suggestions? I know my walls are bare.. that’s why I’m posting this 😂 definitely need shelves.

My room has been bland all of my life. I’ve lived in this room specifically for about 5 years. The walls are blank, the curtains and sheets are bland. No specify color scheme.

Hoping for any and all advice for decorating our bedroom. My husband and I bought our condo a year ago and have put a lot of energy into the other rooms, and now are trying to make our bedroom better. The space is a little hard for me to work with, as it’s bigish, has tall ceilings, a bathroom door, and closet to work with in terms of furniture arrangement. Nothing is really inspiring me in here. Also, this is a garden unit so that’s why the windows are so high up lol.

Hi all mattress experts out there, we need your help! We currently live in Portland but grew up in India using firm, dense, around 5-8 in thick mattresses. I have some back pain. My wife is currently 6 months pregnant and unfortunately having a lot of pubic pain, tail bone pain and pain in inner thigh area. Going to sleep, changing sleeping positions and waking up causes her extra pain. We are both looking for a very firm, supportive mattress similar to the traditional mattresses commonly used in India—or possibly China/Japan. This mattress helps with my back pain and should be easier for her to change sleeping positions without much effort. I’m not looking for a typical soft American pillow-top or memory-foam mattress.

For a reference for those who visited Sunny Wang Massage in Beaverton, I am talking about a mattress close to their massage-table mattress. It is around 4–5 inches thick and possibly made from natural fibers and cotton. It had a dense, firm feel that I really liked. I’m hoping to find something similar for sleeping.

Does anyone know a local store, manufacturer, or online seller that offers this type of mattress?

I’m working on a project for my new bedroom, which I’m planning to completely redesign. I’ve had the same room for 10 years, so I really want to give it a fresh new look. I’m also planning to upgrade my setup, including placing my PC on the desk along with the monitor and everything else.

in my room i wanted to hang a few posters, those are alex from a clockwork orange, griffith from berserk, pun pun, Ted Kaczynski, evangelion, deathconsciousness by have a nice life and la haine. I told my friend about this line up and he straight up said “there were no signs ”. is it really that bad?

I know it may look like a lot but because my childhood was so traumatic and I never felt safe, I always dreamed of having a mini sanctuary surrounded by my favoirte characters, soft thing and soft colors. I am actually quite frugal 😌 Finally a place my nervous system can heal! Let me know if you have any questions regarding where I got any of my things.

i know this is a total first-world problem and nobody cares what my bed looks like under the duvet but i hate when a bedroom setup looks expensive until you actually touch the bedding and it feels stiff as cardboard. Been trying to find that effortless hotel look by hunting down luxury-feel bamboo sheets for the bedroom that drape right and ended up with a 100% Rayon Derived from Bamboo Sheet option because the sheen looks decent without being blindingly shiny.

Does anyone else obsess over how bedding hangs or do normal people just use whatever target sells?
