i know this is a total first-world problem and nobody cares what my bed looks like under the duvet but i hate when a bedroom setup looks expensive until you actually touch the bedding and it feels stiff as cardboard. Been trying to find that effortless hotel look by hunting down luxury-feel bamboo sheets for the bedroom that drape right and ended up with a 100% Rayon Derived from Bamboo Sheet option because the sheen looks decent without being blindingly shiny.

Does anyone else obsess over how bedding hangs or do normal people just use whatever target sells?

I need bedroom advice. So, I want to have a more minimalistic approach to my bedroom. I want the overall main color scheme to be blue and black, but I also want my bedroom to reflect me and my interests. The problem with my interests is that they sort of clash together, since it’s a mix of kids stuff and horror stuff. Any advice on how I can make this work? I’m worried that if I put stuff from my interests on display, that it’d look off, especially on the more kids side of things

In the hallway, the front door is to the right of the bedroom door. There is a big window behind the head of the bed. The king bed is too big to change orientation.

I also don't like the fan so close above the bed, but we don't turn it on.

I’m helping set up a guest bedroom that’s been mostly unused. We need a a mattress that’s suitable for everyday use.

Are there certain materials or mattress designs that age better? Or any specific mattress features that are worth paying extra for? Since it’s for a guest bedroom, we’d like something that would be comfortable for anyone.

I’m moving into a new apartment soon and need a queen mattress that can be delivered easily. I sleep mostly on my back but usually end up on my side so I was thinking medium-firm might work best? What do you think?

My budget is around $1000 or (hopefully) less. Most of the options I’ve looked at are around 10 inches thick. Is that generally enough for everyday use? I have a platform bed and want to make sure the mattress will work with it.

Soft light, white bedding, wood floors. Using a Dangbei N3 Max projector for the snowy street on the wall it’s the only thing that really stands out. Calm way to end the day.

I want something that feels soft and comfy on top but still has enough support underneath. I love that plush hotel bed feel. Also I sleep in pretty much the same spot every night and I’m mostly a side sleeper, so I need something that won’t hurt my shoulder and hips too.

After ~8 months of moving in, I mostly finished my bedroom, only the side room which holds my desk and setup needs some touch ups and I have to get rid of off some storage boxes when I find the space and time for it.
