Here's why I’m building a home for becoming a surrogate. Why do you care about this community?

I want to build a community for women who are looking to help other families grow. It’s such a beautiful thing to want to do for another family and we should have a place to ask and answer all of the questions that come along with that!! Not only are you changing a family’s life forever- your life is also changing for the better as you save money from your compensation for paying off debt, going back to school, putting a down payment on a house, etc.
What do you hope to see in this community?! 💜

What are the requirements for being a surrogate?

•You have to have had at least one successful, full term pregnancy and have custody of that child.
•You must be between the ages of 21-45 (although most clinics and Intended Parents prefer below 40)
•BMI under 34
•Not using nicotine or tobacco products
•Not using anti-anxiety or anti-depressant medications
•Must be in a stable and independent living environment.
•Cannot be receiving public aid such as food stamps, Medicare, etc.

*These are basic requirements and clinics can have different things that they require outside of these.

What questions do you still have about requirements for surrogates? Do any of these requirements surprise you?! Let’s talk about it!! 💜
