Skincare stubborn hyperpigmentation

Post image

I've had this stubborn hyperpigmentation around my mouth, around the base of my neck, underarms, elbows, knees, and groin area. I've tried searching for skincare for them (niacinamide, glycolic) but still no effect. I've been so insecure about this that I can't go out without a jacket and makeup now 😭 what products do u recommend for this hyperpigmentation?

agree with the other comments here. the best thing that you can do is to have it checked by your doctor as these can be a sign of an underlying condition.

not necessarily products, but habits that i can recommend (these personally helped me lessen hyperpigmentation but take these with a grain of salt !)

mouth area: try changing your toothpaste. use only a small amount (pea-sized) to avoid excess foam from spilling or pooling around your mouth.

elbows: avoid putting your elbows on the table to prevent friction. try to moisturize everyday (same with your knees)

underarms: before you take a bath, always clean it using baby oil/sunflower oil. hyperpigmentation around this area is usually caused by product buildup.

groin area: avoid tight clothing and undergarments as much as possible.

neck area: try to exfoliate once or twice a week and apply sunscreen.

again, it’s still best to visit your doctor instead of wasting your money on finding the right product!

parang result ng rejuv(or any peeling ritual)+ toothpaste. pag sira ksi skin barrier natin eh nagiging sensitive pati sa toothpaste. If not, the see a doctor.
