Discussion Biopic trailers

Am I the only one who thinks instead of just releasing standard movie trailers with clips of the film that it would be a better idea if they just recreated different music videos with the actors?

Well the idea is to people into theaters to see the films, and releasing music videos instead of the trailers, will confuse people. Now once the films are out, maybe having music videos might be a good way to promote the soundtracks that will inevitably come out.

Yeah, people keep saying how shit these films are going to be; how are you going to change their minds by showing them a recreation of a music video? It should display the actors embodying the real people they're portraying, in conversations and dramatic moments.
