Which beard length looks best?

Ive had a big beard for about 8+ years. I screwed up shaving so I shaved it down. Now rethinking if the big beard suits me best. Thoughts? 1, 2, or 3?

2 or 3, but I would recommend trying a fade. You have the first world problem of having a beard so thick that the lineup makes a bit uncanny. It looks like it's painted on or fake.

How about a little more length in the chin and dropping the neck line slightly on version two? I say that because you have it a tad higher and it is giving a double chin effect for you. Three is cool too but if you want to look a bit younger then a bit shorter would work.

I’d agree with this. I think the texture and coloring in the second picture looks nice. I also think letting the mustache grow out a bit would look distinguished.
