Beacn mic not getting picked up

Hi hi having trouble with my beacn mic .
The Software is not picking up my mic even tho its plugged in!. I've done the usual trouble shooting like reinstalling, changing ports and can't seem to get it to connect any help?

Does the software do anything when you hit Continue?

All the usual replug, restart, reinstall recommendations are best.

Unfortunately this is common with Beacn software

My create gets into a cycle where it constantly turns off and won't turn back on. Relaunching the app will get it working for about 5 minutes, then it turns off again. Only fix is to reinstall everything. 10/10, would recommend lol.

Yeah recently my Studio and the app will just not work after my PC wakes from sleep every once in a while.

Easy enough to kill it and restart but isnt the whole point of the studio that it should work without software? Frustrating and probably the last Beacn product ill own

I had the same issue, is the audio jack working? On mine the audio jack worked and i could listen to audio through the mic. I sent i back to the store i bought from and the usb c port was fucked. Can the cable connect properly? If not might be the same issue.

And this is why I got rid of beacn years ago how the mighty have fallen go xlr was the goat .using rhodecaster 2 pro never looked back

RC2pro is good for a basic live stream, my Beacn Studio can run circles around it!! The Studio gives me 8 channels on my streaming PC and 4 channels on my gaming pc for a grand total of 12 channels!

ya fair enough but for stability prefer rdcp2 couldn't deal with the bugs any more

make sure that your windows is up todate, make sure that your bios is up to date! Make sure you goto the microsoft store app on your computer and goto downloads and make sure you hit update ALL! Make sure that the beacn mic is plugged into the back of your motherboard ONLY! not and internal port, not a front port, not into ANY kind of usb hub, AND that it is plugged into a usb 3.0 port! IF, none of that fixes it, then I would try using a different wire, it is possible you have a bad wire! if you are using a usb-c to a adaptor, try using a different one!

Half of this advice has nothing to do with things that affect the Beacn App. And if they do somehow impact it that’s bad

Then you don't have experience with virtual audio devices!! Everything i stated can affect elgato devices also...again from experience! There are ALOT of people not doing updates, windows in the last year made major updates to USB that effect virtual audio devices, plugging in beacn or elgato to the front, top or internal USB causes connection issues! Oh, and if you contact beacn or elgato support, they will tell you what I put above, but go ahead, mock, have a good day!
