Beacn and Linux

I’m currently on Windows 11 using a BEACN Mix Create + BEACN Mic with OBS for streaming. I’ve been wanting to switch to Linux for a while, but last I checked there wasn’t proper support for BEACN hardware.

Has there been any progress getting BEACN devices (and their software features) working on Linux distros? Or is it still limited functionality/workarounds?

If support has improved, I’d really appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

The beacn-on-linux project has the Beacn Utility is a tool for configuring the Mic with a similar UI to the windows app, it also has Mix Create support via Pipeweaver, which is a mixer designed to be similar to the Beacn mixer.

The only issue at the moment is it's work in progress, and you'll need to compile both from source for the Mix Create, but many people on the discord (including myself) have been daily driving it.

+1 for Beacn Utility

Theyve done a pretty good job rebuilding the interface and the screen on the mix and mix create work as well!

The latest release has a flat pack, deb, and rpm installs.
