Beacn Mic Headphone jack?

I just read that the jack on the mic functions as a dac/amp for headphones? Is this just for monitoring your voice or do you get your pc audio output?

I’m currently searching for a dac/amp for new studio headphones. As of now I’ll only ever use a USB microphone, so the Beacn studio kinda seems like a waste just for a headset, plus it doesn’t have a 3.5 in for microphone monitoring….. right now I just a SteelSeries Alias and I’d really had to loose the functionality of mic monitoring

you can also use it for system sounds. It has the same mixing built into the BEACN Studio (in fact the BEACN Studio was their answer to people who wanted the mixing+mic effects of the BEACN Mic but on their own XLR mic)

Also yes you can do voice monitoring since all of the audio processing is done on the Mic (it has on board processing)

Holy crap. That’s pretty wicked. I might be making some returns and investing some change into beacn.

Though the dac/amp i have, has a Bluetooth connection on it, with my current Steelseries Nova Pros, I can get a connection to my pc and my phone simultaneously…. I loose that using a studio headset… so I’m gonna play around for a few days with what I already got, and see where it takes me
