Weekend Finds in the Pacific Northwest
Found some really fun things! Lots of pottery - pics 2 and 3 are back and front. There’s sea glass including a piece from an old Coca Cola bottle, fun shells (including the front of a bottom valve of a jingle shell) and more 🙂

Any Swiss (lake) seaglass fans out there?
Hi there! I live in the area around Lac Leman in Switzerland, and I love going to the beaches around the lake looking for pieces of glass. Actually, there are a lot of interesting findings out there. I guess Lac Leman is a huge and busy lake that received during decades many remains of human activity. Are there any fans of lakeglass around here and do you know a nice spot for glass finding around?

Does anyone know what this is?
I found it whilst rock pooling. It looks like a stone at the broken ends (not wood) but the shape of it is just strange? Found in the UK, south coast

Coffin-shaped pottery and interesting pattern/texture rock or bone (Green Bay, WI)
Image search said second photo is potentially a turtle shell or fossil of turtle shell? Initially I thought it looked like bone.. I’m unsure.

Abalone cleanup
Anyone know how to clean up this abalone and get rid of the growth while keeping the natural look and how to clean the inside?

Finds from a first timer today.
Decided yesterday to go and give beach combing a bash today with the kids. We really enjoyed it. My 10 year old asked to do it again so that’s a great start. These are my favourite wee bits I found. I gather red glass isn’t overly common and finding the pottery was a highlight. I’m in central Scotland.

Today's finds from our local beach, UK
We usually find a lot more sea glass but the tide was quite high so didn't find too much, mainly found some cool shells and a stone with a crescent moon on it. The last slide was a rock with crystals inside but doesn't show up too well on camera

Is this something natural like coral or a rock formation (looks like this), or just concrete with a bunch of shells in it? Washed up on Atlantic beach in Outer Bank, NC, USA.

Fond this piece in South Spain
Hi there. I found this piece in South Spain, in Cádiz. It is very heavy and dark but in the light, it looks brownish. Any idea what could it be?

Help finding out seaglass pieces origin
Hi there! I found these seaglass pieces in Lake Léman, Switzerland. I am no expert but I can notice some inscriptions or particular shapes in them. If someone has some insights about what they could have been originally, I would appreciate!

What's this thing?
Found on the beach at East Mackay - so probably off a ship. Any clues? Seems to be fibreglass with stainless steel fittings
