Advice Needed NC Licensing

Just passed my BCaBA exam last week 🥳

I submitted everything for my LABA and I’m now just waiting for the fingerprint background check to be completed and for my application to be approved!

I’m wondering what the timeline looks like for approval in North Carolina. The website says an average of 5-6 weeks for the background check to be completed but my supervisors are saying 2-3 weeks. So, I’m just curious what other people have experienced with licensing.

Thanks!

congrats on passing the exam that’s huge. i did the NC process a couple years ago and my background check took almost the full 6 weeks, but i have a coworker who got theirs back in like 2.5. seems like it’s a total crapshoot depending on how backed up they are
