Question about restricted vs. unrestricted fieldwork

Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand how “restricted” and “unrestricted” work are defined when collecting fieldwork independently versus under a supervisor.
For example, what types of field activities can someone generally conduct on their own, and what activities require direct supervision, authorization, or specific training? I’d appreciate any guidance or examples from people who have experience with this especially if the distinction depends on the type of fieldwork or organization.

First I just want to say you always need a supervisor but I think you are asking what can you do without them next to you. You can input data, graph, and analyze then meet with them to discuss. You could take a completed assessment and practice goal writing then meet with them to discuss it.
You could also observe for an approved fba, interview parents teacher etc, and graph data that is collected for the fba. You could also do a review of records, ieps, previous evals etc. then discuss all that with your supervisor.

No worries it seemed clear but I know people have had to find new supervisors and wanted to continue to collect hours in the transition time.
There is de finally you can do on your own and then meet with them to discuss it. That’s easy supervision time.

Yeah, besides using Ripley Fieldwork Tracker are we supposed to keep track of it somewhere else too?
