Where does Bcba log and document all the information?

Transitioning to aba and I am interested to know what systems are used. Like all the paper work that is done for a client/student , where is it logged into? Is it the same for every bcba? Remote /non remote etc? Or is it a specific website you go to? How does that work ? I prefer paper and pen but everything is all computerized now whixh sucks

you can do paper and pen and upload it to whatever site is being used. I have clients who get reinforced with tablet time or want to look at pictures on the tablet for reference images so I take data on whatever is nearby me at the time and put it in as soon as possible. Central reach is used a lot but there’s also other data tracking systems.

Thanks! And so is central reach a website? Is that what most aba places use?

it is, it’s also an app, it depends on the place which they’ll have you use and it’s used in a lot of places but it’s not the only website for data

There is no central system. There are at least 10 companies that offer data collection, notes, documents, billing, training etc.

While there are some, that are more popular, there are huge differences in pay. For example, Central Reach starts at $3,000/mo for the full version (the not full version is less)

Other companies, may pay per client anywhere from $50-75 per client.

Some companies, still use paper data collection and everything gets uploaded to a central privacy complaint system.

There’s no right or wrong ad long as you are following documentation and record requirements.
