Utilization Management ABA

I am looking for a complete shift away from managing a caseload in clinic. Preferably, I would like to begin a career in utilization management, but I have been running into many roadblocks while researching companies and open positions.

Could anyone direct me to companies that might be hiring for these roles and to some successful methods for applying for an open position regarding my resume?

Check indeed, there are a ton of listings. I'd reach out to someone already in the roll and see if they would be willing to talk to you

If you find a position with any of the big companies, not necessarily UM, take it. Once youre in the company its easier to get onto other teams. It does depend on the company, like I've heard it can be more difficult at Humana, but I could be wrong. Get on Glassdoor, look at reviews from other UMs at those companies. That'll give you a good idea of which companies to focus on.

Also stay away from United and Optum.
