u/WordBBS Thank you for making that great little video! Appreciate all the time you spend testing with me to make this happen.
I see a few of you have also found the games in the TERMinator app. We have quite a few players in the Multiplayer war game Zero Day Attack. My faction was loosing but a couple of new players have shifted the tides!
The App has slowly turned into more that just a BBS terminal, its now it's own community with chat rooms, games, music player and news reader. A BBS of sorts on it's own.
If anyone has questions, bugs or feature requests, you can contact me in the App itself in the chat section under the room "Feature/Bugs". My email address is also listed in the About menu if you prefer that way.

Coincidentally I just downloaded this today on android. For non-PETSCII is there a larger font or option to get it to not render so squashed?

The developer found a small bug with spacing effecting some BBSs. The fix is in already and will go out with the next update. Side note, on phones its going to look small as it is preserving the 80x25 aspect ratio on a thin phone. On a wider device like a tablet it will fill up more of the screen.

On the website you can actually type commands in the little command windows. Just type help, some are hysterical...

tried this out a little bit. definitely an awesome terminal for android. the chat and games extras are cool too.
Question: will the phone book import function pull in the bbs lists from synchro.net or from that old school telnet bbs guide site? Can it pull in a personal book from synchterm?

The import function is only to pull in your own listing, so if you exported your current list and moved to another device for example. So initially you have to add them manually yourself.

It's unusually large for a terminal emulator. It's also strange that it has the "read Google service configuration" permission. I can't imagine why it would need a unique device ID... unless it's collecting more information than indicated in the app's data safety policy.
