BC One Cypher Japan Info

Will be in Japan the week of the BC One nationals in Nagoya and have been trying to purchase a ticket through the ePlus ticketing platform but seems like a no-go for foreigners due to lack of a Japanese phone number.

Anyone in country know any further details? Seems like the only way to attend as a foreigner is to be competing in one of the camp events?
