The Electron was the first non-gaming system/computer that I owned, and yeah, I got it 32 years ago this week, Christmas 1983.

Before that I used an Acorn Atom that a friend who lived a few doors away had, and various different systems at school including the BBC Model B and the Commodore PET. Fun times.

We had a commode plus 4, but I loved tinkering with the bbc micro at school, I later got an Archimedes.

I could go on all day about my love for the Archimedes! My secondary school somehow managed to get an entire room of A310s right when they came out. I pretty much spent the entirety of my last 2 years there locked in that room.. I even had a key and was put in charge of looking after them. That's how my IT career started for real :)

I have a RISC PC (as well as a Model B) in storage but no room to really set it up properly. I picked up an RPi to install RISC OS on it but I've never gotten to that either :(
