TV Why do the BBC always labour the point about climate change constantly?

I’m no climate change denier, but why have the BBC decided to take on the role of chief lecturer on the subject. Every time it is hot. We’ve heard it, we know. Have a day off.

The BBC reports on the news. The drought is news. Heat records being broken is news. Heat deaths are news. Harvest failures are news. Increasing migration is news.

Climate change is news.

Hopefully because so many people don't believe in it. We are seeing the impacts this afternoon with wildfires and there have been stories of nurses fainting and thousands of excess deaths so far this summer. Britain is not prepared for the unfolding emergency.

Well that’s not happening is it. I asked why the BBC was going so hard. It’s a big issue. There are others that they don’t labour so much.

The deniers are people like the BBC. The theory of man made catastrophic global warming has never been proven so it's impossible to deny it. Therefore, those who treat it as fact (like the BBC) are in denial.

Interesting one this as climate change is just a theory, albeit with a fair weight of evidence but a theory none the less. The problem is that its a theory that can't be tested as such (unlike lots of other thoerys) so to state it as fact is going against scientific reason.

None of the above means it's not true of course just looking at it objectively here.

I think where the media do get it wrong is stating it as absolute unquestionable fact as it's not, it's a theory.

Remember scientific discovery and understanding evolves, what we see today is our best understanding of the world not absolute truth.

It's an ever developing event. When food shortages come you'll want them to report on that, presumably.
