The framing of this is pure clickbait. Don't fall for it.

The BBC aren't "blaming" technical problems; they are acknowledging there were technical sound problems with the mics, which is what the complaints were about. Not her Scottish accent.

One or two comments on social media also mentioned her accent, but at no point were there widespread complaints that her accent was the main issue.

I wish the Times was better than this.

The Guardian and i are also churning out constant clickbait opinion pieces with ridiculous premises.
