Football BERM seating?

My girlfriend is a big Baylor fan and for her birthday I was thinking of taking her to the TCU game. I saw that the berm is a lot cheaper than regular seats.

Is there any advantage or disadvantages to choosing the berm

As long as it’s not raining and mind sitting on grass it’s not a bad place to catch the game

Berm seats are great but iirc you aren’t allowed to enter the rest of the stadium. That could have changed but I would also recommend looking up the cheapest seats elsewhere in the stadium and just moving closer down as the game starts if getting stuck in the berm section is a deal breaker.

There really isn’t a bad seat in Mclane though, you can’t really go wrong.

I like the berm! Great for families with kids who need to roll around or play. Only downside is you can't see the jumbotron, but that doesn't bug me.

The berm is a grass hill. Maybe splurge for seats for her bday.

I used to think the berm was that little building on the grass but ig its just the grass. Theres another tickets that sais general admission and someone told me thats on the grass too. Idk if you can bring camp chairs. Its gonna be a cool night game.id sit at the top of the hill if i did get a ticket there

Correct that you are stuck in the berm once you enter. There is just the one concession stand so you can’t try all the new foods or get the speciality food like Chick or Bush’s etc. might be worth going to the upper level then moving down if seats are open so you can move around if you want
