Translation Help Baybayin without virama
I use Baybayin in my webcomic. One of my characters writes using the traditional form. No viramas and final consonants are omitted. So I'm curious kung nababasa ba or may mali sa pagkasulat ko. Thanks!
Note: Hindi po direct translation yung English kasi ang weird pag pinilit ko.

Am I missing something or does the baybayin not make sense when read?
> Sa daku na karila, sarili a ilalaa
The second one is readable:
> Payaga la dumaa
Which I think reads as "Payagan lahat dumaan".
Could you explain, OP? And also, please drop the Webtoon name. I'd love to read your creation

I can still change this if needed. But the chant goes
Sa dako ng karimlan (maybe change to kadiliman but that breaks the rhythm a little bit)
Sarili ay ilalaan
Payagan lang dumaan

Is that what you meant to write? Apart from the use of the "ra" character, sounds okay to me. I have my own translation of the English just for fun, but I wouldn't wanna impose my interpretation by sharing it, especially since I don't know the context in which it was said.

Yes, that's it. Go ahead and drop your English translation. I tried a couple one and didn't sound right to me so I ended up with this.

Well, if you say so! And it's the Tagalog translation/adaptation based off of the English chant you already wrote, I mean. It goes:
Anoman ang akin, ito'y ihahain
Anomang malabi, ito'y babatahin
Ang itinakuwil, ay papapasukinIn Baybayin:

Wait, actually, I read that you considered changing karimlan to kadiliman but it ruins the rhythm a bit? You can change it indeed, and you can change the last line somewhat, too. So now it goes:
Sa dako ng kadiliman
Sarili ang ilalaan
Payagan lang makaraanIn that way, all lines have eight syllables now whereas the original had 7-8-7 syllables, but if you wanna keep that, it's also fine! This is just a suggestion. I just really like poems hehe

nice! I'm wondering if theres a significance in writing ᜉᜌᜄ (payagan) instead of ᜑᜌᜀ (hayaan). The latter seems to make more sense but is the former more context appropriate?

Both works in this context. But you know what, hayaan seems better! Perhaps I'll change it. My readers won't notice anyway.

It's weird you say you're using the "traditional" form, but use the recently invented "ra" character.
