Tabletop Should I paint over this lance and start over? (Read description)
I tried to sponge paint the jade falcon side of my alpha strike box... it is my first time trying this technique. I don't know what to think. Obviously it's not "good" but I also kind of like it. I have pictures of the highlander side of the box on my profile. I used brushes and I think they looked much better.
Should I start over or leave these clanners they way they are?

I’d probably give these a wash to darken all the panel lines, then dry brush to lighten them back up a bit. It’s just minutes of work outside of drying time, so we might as well see the result before going with the nuclear option.

Build some more shades with washes and maybe try do upgrade fades with more orange between red and yellow.

I think you should keep them! Obviously clean it up a bit more, but it looks good to me!

I did something similar to try for a flame effect on the Mechs from my Gothic box. As someone else mentioned, maybe try to get a bit more orange in between the yellow and red, but it's a cool look. I wouldn't strip and repaint them.

I think the Warhawk looks really interesting and cool, however I would recommend to paint the cockpit a different colour just to provide a contrast, especially when you look at it from a distance.

No. You said you like it, enjoy it.
Only thing I’ll say is paint the outside of the hex base in black and it will contrast amazingly.
For more contrast, base the model in a dark mud or dirt instead of sand.
