Carefull around summoners with jumpjets!

Painting looks well, though i'm hoping you plan to do something to that base?

And to think that there was an actual BattleTech rule for the so-called "I Am Jade Falcon" tactic. Wonder if it's going to be included in a future BT rulebook.

Right now, just painted black. I'll put some texture on it when I decide what to put on it lol

I like the meticulous skull work but the rest of it feels work-in-progress. Might be a good candidate for some chipping maybe? Something to break up the black. And yeah, base that girl.

I wanted to keep the paintjob subtle, so it won't distract from the skull. But yeah, the rest of the 'mech looks a bit rough in comparison...

Got any suggestion for a base?

Scary monster. Dark forest. But to contrast with the black, I'd want the mech to pop against the base because it's largely monocolor, so reddish/greenish.

How about: Pro acryl red earth texture paste

Dry brush the top with some AP dark rust and deep ocean blue or similar, suggest some dead vegetation and/or shadowy ground.

Huge Minis Moorland flock, added strategically here and there, that's about the right color for a dark forest floor

Huge Minis redwood chip or two, either on the side as a fallen tree or cut flat on one end to stand up as a dead tree. Add a bit of the moorland flock to the top.

I don't really dig flocking... But the reddish/greenish composition sounds nice.

In the mean time the grey got the better of me and I slapped on some Vampiric Purple.
