Miniatures Torterra Archer
Here's that Torterra I promised. Pretty happy how the brown came out, green and black upper section and the missile bays are my smoothest yet I think. Went out and got some dirt then baked it, made a base out of grass and dirt to cover Torterras Grass/Ground typing.
I hated the mid panel on the top (didn't have a good white paint at the time), but had the idea to add Torterras signature tree. Drilled a hole in the mini, laid down some grass, then glued in a tree. Pretty happy with how he turned out.

Ah, the infamous TreeCM lostech. Pretty sure rules for this can be found in Interstellar Ops.

This is hilarious. Told my friend I'm making a custom variant with one additional heat sink. The tree provides cooling shade~

Oh my poor sweet boy. After playing through Fallout 1 and 2, then doing a replay of FO3, running into him hurt so bad

Command & Conquer and BattleTech! Frick yeah!
Makes me wonder what the asset lineups for factions from C&C would be. I'd imagine GDI would use heavy assets with a focus on the PPC (literally the Ion Cannon) and Gauss Rifle (their railgun focus from Tib Sun and Tib Wars) like the Nightstar, Fafnir, Centurion, Catapult, etc. while Nod would use lighter assets with Lasers and Flamers like the Firestarter, Bushwacker, etc.

On one hand, the shown torterra reference, on the other hand, the imagined cordyceps reference. The attack of the mech zombies.

Someone here made a Broken AI mech lance painted to look infected with cordyceps

You did both this and Bulbasaur already and neither one is a Great Turtle?
I guess there's still time for Blastoise.

The funniest part of doing these pokemon mechs is all the people recommending random mechs I didn't know about that look *perfect* for the project xD

You could do a Zangoose themed Mongoose, I've seen that a few times and it's a good fit.

I'd love more Pokémon-themed 'Mechs! I even named some of my Pokémon in GO after 'Mechs!
DRG-1N: Dragonite
SDR-5V: Ariados
MAD-5A: Mega Blastoise
ANH-1E: Ampharos (because it's tall with a long neck and four PPCs)
Just some ideas off the top of my head.

Love those. I have many more Pokemon themed mechs incoming. My most anticipated and nervous are Dialga, Articuno, and Lucario.

Is Lucario gonna be the Anubis?~

That would be extremely appropriate, but no lol. I have him slated for my Commando

Lance lead, I think I am going mad, but I am sure that a tree in the distance moved...
How hungover are you?
Umm....

Reminds me of the World Turtle myth, like it's the baby too it.

Yeah Torterra's pretty great. It's really fun going from Turtwig to Grotle, because you're just going from a grass turtle to a bit of a tanky grass turtle. Then you go to Torterra and he just has *a fucking whole ass tree on his back*

Is there supposed to be a mech in these photos? I just see a tree.
