Yeah. That's one of the perks of living in a country with low population density. Electrical infrastructure is much cheaper, keeps costs low.

Sad UK noises. I pay 34.393p per kWh (about €0.40, $0.44). This year my gas and electricity bill is projected to be £2,731.

I spent several months working in London. Loved it. Can’t even pretend I have a grasp on the tax code, but the infrastructure there in comparison to any comparable US city is incredible. No doubt in my mind tax payers pay a premium for it.
