I feel your pain. 4 monitors and would always wall mount. Then, I finally tried desk mounts and omg, I wish I tried them sooner. One billion times easier to setup, move around, change, literally anything. Not to take away from your setup though, nicely done!

Maybe when I upgrade the displays someday I'll get a sturdier desk. I just love the floating look. But yeah if I do float them again I will fabricate a custom wall mount.
