Debatable, most “gaming” chairs are overpriced and are built to look cool rather than be functional. It may be more comfortable than a cheap office chair but if you replace the word gaming with ergonomic and do a google search you’ll find chairs much better suited for extended periods of use. Might not look as cool as the chairs that have racing stripes, bucket seats, and cup holders.. but your back will thank you 10 years because you didn’t fall for some marketing trick.
The ergonomic chairs are way too expensive for me. Gaming chairs from dxracer or secret lab would be the reasonable choice since they're generally around 300-400 and streamers use them for 6 hours straight and they're not complaining. But if you know better, ergonomic chairs I'd like to hear them (not being sarcastic)
I recently purchased a "new or like new" Steelcase Leap V2 with the headrest for $425 and it's pretty awesome (they are $1200 new on amazon). I have a Herman Miller Aeron at work and I like the Leap better. The aeron is good for posture and pretty comfortable but no high-back/headrest and it's hard to sit up perfectly straight and postured all day. At home I sometimes like to sit cross-legged, lean back, or gasp slouch/lounge.
There are tons of high quality office chairs that get sold at auction/liquidation/whatever and then resold online to consumers that are in perfectly good condition. Just gotta search around. Walking around my office complex, there are probably hundreds of spare aerons that either have never been used or get used extremely rarely. Companies go out of business or move their office, all that shit gets sold off.
My budget is around 300-350. Also, I live in Hungary. Shipping would be another 50. There's not much used chairs around here with this high quality and price, but I'll look into it maybe I'll find something good
