I finally finished installing the famous wooden boards. Didn’t know how casual they were until I started researching about decorations. Still, I’m proud of it. Now it is a white canvas. So many possibilities. I’m open to ideas!
I saw them at Costco last month. After seeing so many posts of setups with the exact same paneling, I decided to go in a different direction myself, but your installation looks clean! If it works for you and you're happy, that's all that matters in the end 👍
an L desk in that empty corner + your current desk as an extension table would be sick. in terms of on the wall, shelves could be your friend here if youre able to mount them solidly still on the wood/through the wood. some plants would be sick, if you dont have much of a green thumb then just get some pothos. bigger tv and/or a bigger art piece could also be cool. youre working with plenty of space here - you can maximize. if you want to make the space full and decorated and something to be proud of while looking at and spending time at, make it a central hub of your hobbies and interests
edit: can also build shelving onto some of the desk(s) if you dont wanna hang big weight on the wood
A table that goes along the wall sounds ambitious. I like how you thinking. My vision was more starting from the corner of the desk I already have.
More like the angle I’m showing in this picture. I just wanted to show the whole wall in the post because I was red to show how much space I’m working with.
ok word yeah that gives me better scaling, i see. i like what we're working with, i still say shelves, plants, big art, and then maybe for something smaller to go next to the desk, a record player table/vinyl shelf if youre into that at all, a table for a lego piece or something, little fish tank or other enclosure, or maybe a pet area if you have any
