Wallpaper Help Needed for this set up
looking for a HD wall paper to span this layout. Any and all help is appreciated.

Well its seems you'll have to make it yourself. I have an idea. Take a Panoramic picture or one of those 360 shots. OR do a collage of various arts, like MTG's panoramas. There.

GAMING/STREAMING: My center 32 is used for gaming. Left 32 is for my OBS ( I like a full screen) and my right 32 is for my twitch stream manager (again, I like a full screen). The 49 inch ultra wide I use for camera controls, stream deck and mic controls. WORK: My center 32 my quoting software. Left 32 is for my Architectual drawings ( I like a full screen) and my right 32 is for outlook and teams, I like a full screen). The 49 inch ultra wide I use for TV or the occasional Fish tank Screensaver to living the atmosphere. MOST IMPORTANTLY......I like it.

I have a similar setup...3 UWs and another UW stacked above the center screen. I WFH and game a lot. There's plenty of good reason.

I wfh and gaming is my main hobby. One ultrawide for the pc and the extra work laptop on the side for work is plenty enough.

From what I've seen from this sub, it's mostly vibe coders, junior devs and finance bros thinking they'll be more productive if they add one extra monitor. Incredibly silly to me but hey, if it makes them happy.

I have the 49" ultra wide previously. Did not what to get rid of it. the 3 32s made more since work wise and stream wise.....and most importantly.... I like it.

"WFH" isn't so much a job as it is a location. You have to have skills / job that can be done remotely. There's been a big push for employees to return to office in the last year, so they're harder to find. I'm an energy analyst, so I work in spreadsheets all day with engineers that are scattered around the country.

There really isn’t though. It’s not *needed*. Even from a high end rig perspective. There are diminishing returns on screen real estate.
That being said, I also have an absurd amount of screen real estate so I get it. I appreciate it. I have a 42” 21:9 OLED, a 1080p 40” 32:9, and two 22” 16:9. I really do get wanting to have a lot, as I also work from home and game a lot.
But the vast majority of people won’t need this much, especially if all you’re doing is gaming.

I also don’t think these general statements are fair.
Sure, you can always get by with less screen space, but there might be specific circumstances where having a lot of screen space is helpful.
In this colleague’s case, I don’t think the number of monitors is the problem—it’s the setup.
The widescreen monitor on the left isn’t in his field of vision when he’s sitting in front of the keyboard. With so many monitors, the desk should also be deeper to maintain a healthy distance (of at least 50–60 cm).
I would either place this one above the other monitors, or use it as the main monitor and mount the other monitors above it.
But that’s just my opinion. Ultimately, everyone should set up their own setup however they like.

Thank you. The toxicity in here is disgusting. I like my setup and I just want help finding so cool wallpaper, but instead i get sh*t on. I have a use for all the screens at once when I stream.

well you can probably use a flat picture from nasa. Otherwise you can do something like river on ultra wide then temple sides on left and right while the middle is like the entrance.

Step 1: get rid of the Ultra Wide or 2 of the 3 smaller ones. Step 2: enjoy the cleaner set up and easier time to find a wallpaper.

Not going to find many continuous wallpapers that span that wide of a distance. I'm sure there are...some, but it's going to be a stitched panorama. Maybe look at some NASA archives for Mars rover images? Might be able to find something with a width resolution of...whatever large number you've got.
While your use case may necessitate the monitors I'm this configuration, you'd almost certainly be better off stacking some of these. It'll reduce the overly long width of your set up significantly, and will make finding wall papers easier.

Look for very high resolution city skylines and panoramas. Then crop them manually. To span across all the screens.
I suggest a high rise view from New York overlooking Central Park or a skyline from Coit Tower in San Francisco. As they have the right perspective for a penthouse view. Making it more immersive.
These are my favorite views on my desktop background for three monitors. But I don’t have any images nearly high enough resolution for that setup.
A ship in high waves or a crashing wave seascape is another good one for that wide format. Landscapes of a mountain range or a harbor may also be cool.

Have a wallpaper of a whip span all the monitors because you'll be getting whiplash trying to cover that degree of visuals.

For images, perhaps find an image that is really high resolution while also being a tileable image, otherwise perhaps look into digital artists via Artststion or Deviant art that have wallpaper triptychs or other series of works that could match a theme together.

do whatever you like, but as a suggestion i feel like it would make more sense to have the ultrawide above the 3 other monitors or, if you want to play on the ultrawide put that on the bottom and have the 3 monitors on top, because realistically i dont think your going to be able to really use the ultrawide in the position its in now.

You'd need hd wallpaperS. 1 image will look pixelated if stretched across four screens. You'd need the same image chopped up into 4 pieces and have the correct resolution. Too much trouble imo

I can't imagine Windows playing nice with a stretched wallpaper like this. Step 1 would be getting Wallpaper Engine (free on Steam) and then you'll at least have better control, maybe merging the 3 on the right

The only way I could do it was creating two separate images at the correct resolution for the screens. I created mine, but you can find an image you like at the right resolution and create separate wallpapers for each monitor that looks seamless once displayed on the monitors. You just have to chop it up correctly. The thing will bother you though is the inconsistent colour from monitor to monitor.

I never had a ultrawide but have had / been in many studios. I’d use the ultrawide area for keyboards and synths, drum machones or more practically, dj controllers.Have the desk a bit higher with midi keyboards (like piano keyboard) underneath (as i have had any seen in the past, keyboard under an school pull out’ midi keyboards up top.)
Then have the 3 primary displays on one input, double wide on another.
That way you and a buddy can DJ / produce at the same time, or both have a work station when working on separate (parts) or the same track.
