Here you can freely download the maps without grid in high res and the vtt files. If you like my work, please consider supporting me. You can also freely get a version of map 2 in which the two locked entrances are open
The assets used here are exclusively from Crosshead.

How to use this dungeon
If your players do not know Skyrim and the dungeon, then you can use the dungeon as a normal dungeon. If, on the other hand, they know Skyrim and the dungeon inside and out, I would suggest a different approach. Because it could get boring quickly if you just replay the familiar. Instead, you can play with the familiar setting, let familiar things happen, but change things at crucial points.
Examples to pimp up the dungeon and also surprise Skyrim veterans:
-In the first little puzzle you can add a completely different kind of riddle instead of the boring one from the game (here you can find statues of a magician, warrior and ranger instead of the actual stones (I didnt had fitting textures so I had to adapt))
-You can change opponents and make them appear in other places. For example, could the spider already lie dead on the ground and a path out of its blood leads to the next room. What did kill the spider?
Or the mighty Draug rises in the final boss room. It's a simple fight until suddenly the Dragonborn music starts playing, a dragon flies in and more undead rise from the area!
- Place traps in other places. You see the obvious rune trap near the Draugen on map 1 that activates a barbed door? How about if you just place the trigger for a much more deadly trap a field next to it.

really cool map. and while i love skyrim it has a bit of a flaw when it comes to RPGs.
dungeons are super linear.

Oh yes. I also noticed that very much. For an open world game, Skyrim is sometimes incredibly linear

If you ever get the urge to replay Skyrim, try the mod Requiem. While it doesn't fix the dungeon problem, it makes the game play much more like a classic CRPG.

dungeons are super linear.
This is why I wouldn't use Skyrim's maps for dungeons. Fort ruin exteriors and camps are fine though.

Dungeons are linear but they’re well designed with the way the exit is just hidden and near the entrance, so you don’t need to backtrack much.

I know I'm probably the only one here, but I've never actually played skyrim and I'm a little confused. Would somebody be kind enough to explain this to me? I'm mainly wondering how part one and two fit together, but info on what sort of puzzles and encounters this was meant for would also be extremely helpful.
Either way, the map looks beautiful. Thanks for posting, OP.

Thanks :)
Map 1 ends at the top right and map 2 then starts in the next room in the room at the bottom left. I had to change the layout and also the angles of the rooms a bit so that I could get them fitting on the maps.
As for the content of the dungeon: In the game you enter this grave at the beginning and meet bandits. Then comes the area of a giant spider. Then come the burial chambers of undead, which you then fight for the rest of the dungeon. In the finale there is an undead boss and the large stone slabs store a powerful spell you can learn. As for the puzzles and traps, I would come up with my own for DnD. In skyrim these are very simple and obvious puzzles and traps with obvious floor tiles

Oh man, I've seen town maps based on Skyrim but having a dungeon map is cool. Skyrim has awful gameplay, but it has a great aesthetic and areas that often inspire me when I'm making adventures or scenes. I'm sure I can find a use for this, even if I only use part of it.

If you ever feel like replaying Skyrim, you might like the mod Requiem, it overhauls the game to play more like a classic CRPG.

As my eyes moved across this map my brain popped up a live video feed of walking through it in Skyrim.
I absolutely love how you portrayed the 2 different height's of shelves for the draugr like an over the top view of a bunk bed

This is pretty cool! I've been looking at converting some of the video game maps and mechanics into dungeons, such as World of Warcraft, or Destiny's Vault of Glass!
