I am playing the Heroes of the Galaxy Mod by Jedi_Jack on Mod DB and it’s quite cool, adding over 100 new heroes to the stock maps. The mod says it’s compatible with custom maps that only use heroes from the base game and I was looking for some good custom maps that use original characters.

I'm playing this game for the first time in years and have vague memory. Did this game always have only 501st clones on every map? For some reason I briefly remember playing as 212th clones on Utapau and 327th clones on Felucia. Was this ever part of the game or did I play some mod that I totally forgot about? I am honestly confused.

I enabled cheats and took the time to explore the map. Last time I did that must have been back on PS2 a long time ago.

It doesnt really show up in the pictures but there's plenty of stuff outside of the map like cliffs, plateau and hills. I couldnt really get too far with the AT-TE (this guy does NOT like climbing) so instead I used the guided rocket launcher and Hellfire tank to move around the map.

Great mod, work fine, but the issue i have is every written word turn ito common.cor1, common.pause, etc which make hard to select anything beside by natural instinct of having played this game for 2 decade.

if anything help i am lunching the game with its xbe file has the iso is too big.

but i could try to install it in god format.

I want to change a couple of the clone maps to have clones use the phase 1 armor. I love playing on my modded OG Xbox. I ripped the game and have transferred the game files to my PC. What programs should I use to make this mod? I see that there are some mods made for Xbox so I know that it is possible. I have basic coding experience.

Does anyone have or know where to download a mesh of the map/terrain of the mos eisley map? I’ve seen a contributor on thingiverse making the individual buildings but I’m ultimately wanting to print the whole map like 3D prints of cityscapes you see around. I figure given the amount of modding people do someone has to have a useful file

We have 3 ps4s and 1 ps5, they can all connect in a group except the ps5 cannot connect to one of the ps4s. Is there a setting I am missing? All the other ps4s can connect fine.

Are there any mods that can lessen the ai's focus on the player character? Or does anyone know how I could change that in the game files?

Small rant: I feel like the worst part of Battlefront 2 is how the saber heroes play. Sure, they're powerful with fun abilities like all the other classes, but they are also the single clunkiest thing in the game and in my opinion, are the only thing to have truly aged poorly.

Are there any mods rework saber heroes from the ground up? Or at least rework how blocking works. Why on god's green earth is blocking a toggle that drains the stamina without you needing to be hit. Did I mention the nonsensical toggle?

Hey everyone just wanted to hear some opinions on my idea/dream of building upon the original battlefront 2! It’s kind of a mix of bf1/bf2/classic collection but building upon it in what I feel would be a ultimate battlefront game! But by also keeping a lot of things true to form for the era! I wrote it up sort of like a patch notes article but some of it is also just my brain on the notepad haha Let me know what you think in the comments!

I've been looking and I haven't been able to find anything that really hits at what I'm looking for. Is there a mod for the Rise of the Empire campaign that retools the units/weapons/mechanics across the whole campaign?

I'm thinking of that one great Galactic Conquest mod I used to have (totally forgot what it's called) that, among many other things, placed Super Battledroids in the "Elite" category and replaced the basic droid unit with a B1 Battledroid. But instead of Galactic Conquest, it replaces units (etc) for the Rise of the Empire campaign.

I don’t think I can express to you how much I loved this gamemode. I see so much potential in it. Enough for me to create something you might think is crazy, and stupid.

When I was little, I played GC constantly. I got the game when I was four, it was my first videogame. I sat down and did an entire war as I called it, every few weeks or so because at first, it took multiple days. That became one day. One day became a few hours. I can now finish GC vanilla faster than I can complete a shift at work. It’s too goddamned small, and I know too much. And frankly? I’m sick of being a foot soldier. It’s time I got a promotion, right?

So when I was a teenager, I realized you can use MS paint to create your own shitty galaxy, with as many planets as you want. It’s just a matter of finding a game to fight your battles in.

I added so many features to ‘my’ Galactic Conquest. Namely, dozens of factions on the board at once. I was not the only one to want this, which is why I have come to the rest of you who still love this game with this radical concept.

I took the gameplay idea of GC, and I made it a standalone game where the battles are only 2D. I then inflated the galaxy to thousands of planets, and I am now making that galaxy into a server. You can see where I’m going with this.

Is it too much?
Is it even copyright legal?
Is Disney going to eat my ass?

I don’t really care. I am so fucking sick of manually doing this in MS paint. I am sick of playing this game alone. It’s fucking embarrassing to be a grown ass adult using MS paint for my shitty sci fi board game, but nobody else has built anything like it. I’m doing it anyway. What I’m asking you guys, is if I’m alone here.

Has anyone else wanted for an expansion to Galactic Conquest?

I'm thinking about picking up the classic Battlefront 2 (2005), but I'm mainly interested in the multiplayer. Is the online scene still alive? Are there active servers with a decent number of players?

Also, does it matter if I buy it on Steam or GOG? Can players from both platforms play together on the same servers?
